BRIDLEBROOK PARK TENNIS CLUB - RULES OF OPERATION – 2018
Bridlebrook Park Tennis Club is a community tennis club authorized to operate, under permit, at Alamosa Park according to the Rules and Regulations of Toronto Parks and Recreation Dept., North York Region.
Definition of Members:
Adult: Members over the age of 18 as of Jan 1st, 2018
Junior: Members between the ages of 8 to 18 as of Jan. 1st, 2018
All Members must display membership shoe tags at all times on the courts.
Shoe tags are non-transferable.
Shoe Tag: Adults Dark blue, Juniors: Light blue, Executive: Black
Playing times are for half an hour on the hour and half hour.
Members must vacate the courts immediately after their half hour if other members are waiting to play in compliance with Tennis Club Rules.
Substitutions cannot be made to prolong play if others are waiting to play on that court at the next half hour time slot.
Members should plan to arrive ten minutes before the half hour in order to indicate their wish to play at the changeover time.
It is recommended that players bring their own chalk to write their current playing times on the board provided.
If all courts are occupied, the new arrivals can declare their choice of court. (First players on are the first to politely give up their court for the next players’ turn.
Doubles play has priority over singles play. If the courts are full there will be no singles play until an open court becomes available.
Members arriving ten minutes before changeover who find a vacant court may then play out that half hour and continue into the next half hour before relinquishing the court to others.
Round Robin: Courts 2 and 3 are reserved Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for Round Robin play 8:00 to 10:00 am.
Juniors: Weekdays: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (equal rights with adults)
Weekends and holidays: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Juniors may play anytime if no adults are waiting.
Juniors must be allowed to finish their half hour.
Adults: 8:00 am to dusk seven days a week
Public Hours: Sunday: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Monday: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

To open the lock, set the above combination numbers in the blue side section of the lock and lift the loop. To close the lock, push the loop down then change any of the four numbers. It is important that the loop is down before changing the numbers.
Members may invite one guest at a time and will pay a $5.00 fee for that guest to an Executive.
Appropriate tennis attire must be worn (no street clothes, jeans, etc.) Shirts must be worn at all times.
Non-marking rubber soled shoes must be worn.
Please respect other’s quiet time on the courts.
The use of profane language is not permitted.
The consumption of alcohol on the premises is strictly prohibited.
The Tennis Club Executive is responsible for enforcing all Club Rules and Regulations and Members in violation of these Rules and Regulations may have their memberships terminated and their fees reimbursed to them on a pro-rated basis.
