Bridlebrook Park Tennis Club is a community tennis club authorized to operate, under permit, at Alamosa Park according to the Rules and Regulations of Toronto Parks and Recreation Dept., North York Region.
Definition of Members:
Adult: Members over the age of 18 as of January 1st, 2024
Junior: Members between the ages of 8 to 18 as of January 1st, 2024.
Public: Non-members
Due to Covid19 restrictions, we will not distribute shoe tags this year.
Playing Times:
Playing times are for an hour on the hour. Members must vacate the courts immediately after their one hour if others are waiting to play keeping in compliance with Tennis Club Rules. Substitutions cannot be made to prolong play if others are booked to play on that court at the next one hour time slot. Members should plan to arrive 10 minutes before the one hour in order to indicate their booked time to play at the changeover time. It is recommended that players update the calendar to schedule their current playing times on the Google Calendar as explained on the Calendar page. Please check the calendar and make sure for not to have double booking. (First players on are the first to politely give up their court for the next players turn). Doubles play has priority over singles play. Members arriving 10 minutes before the changeover who find a vacant court may then play out that one hour and continue into the next one hour before relinquishing the court to others.
Round Robin:
Courts 2 and 3 are reserved Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for Round Robin play from 8:00 to 10:00 am.
Juniors:
Weekdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (equal rights with adults)
Weekend and holidays: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Juniors may play anytime if no adults are waiting. Juniors must be allowed to finish their half hour.
Adults:
8:00 am to dusk 7 days a week
Public Hours:
Saturday: 12:00PM to 3:00PM
Sunday: 12:00PM to 3:00PM
Member’s combination lock #__
To open the lock, set the above combination numbers in the blue side section of the lock and lift the loop. To close the lock, push the loop down then change any of the 4 numbers. It is important that the loop is down before changing the numbers.
Guest Fees:
Members may invite 1 guest at a time and will pay a $5.00 fee for that guest using e-transfer. Please make sure to update the calendar accordingly.
Club Rules:
Appropriate tennis attire must be worn (no street clothes, jeans, etc.) Shirts must be worn at all times.
Non-marking rubber soled shoes must be worn.
Please respect other’s quiet time on the courts. The use of profane language is not permitted.
The consumption of alcohol or recreational drugs on the premises is strictly prohibited.
The Tennis Club Executive is responsible for enforcing all Club Rules and Regulations and Members in violation of these Rules and Regulations may have their memberships terminated and their fees reimbursed to them on a pro-rated basis.
